Job Title: Company Secretary (CS) Intern

Department: Legal & Compliance

Location: Kakkanad, Kochi

Duration: 6 Months

Reporting To: Company Secretary / Compliance Head

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CS Intern to assist our Legal & Compliance team in ensuring adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements. This internship offers practical exposure to corporate laws, secretarial practices, and governance functions - an excellent opportunity for aspiring Company Secretaries to gain hands-on corporate experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining statutory registers, records, and secretarial documents.
  • Draft Board and Committee meeting notices, agendas, minutes, and resolutions.
  • Support in filing ROC forms and other statutory returns with the MCA.
  • Conduct research on corporate laws, SEBI regulations, FEMA, and governance standards.
  • Help in the preparation and submission of annual returns and compliance reports.
  • Maintain proper documentation of company policies, legal agreements, and compliance data.
  • Assist in internal audits, secretarial audits, and liaison with auditors and regulators.
  • Handle shareholder-related correspondence and compliance monitoring.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Pursuing Company Secretary (Executive or Professional Level) from ICSI.
  • Basic understanding of the Companies Act, 2013 and related corporate laws.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online MCA portal.
  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication abilities.
