Position: QA Manual Tester (Only immediate joiners)

Location: Hajira, Surat

Poonam:

Requisites:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 3 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestLink, Zephyr).
  • Experience testing web and mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with API testing (Postman) is an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have:

  • Basic understanding of SQL queries for data validation.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand project requirements and prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test data.
  • Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and/or desktop applications.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing of resolved issues.
  • Participate in review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
  • Maintain proper documentation of test results and ensure test traceability.
  • Provide input on test estimation, planning, and risk assessment.
