As a DevOps Engineer, you will design tools to enhance developer productivity while ensuring infrastructure security and compliance. Reporting to the Staff DCO Engineer. You will be responsible for:

  • Configuring systems for compliance (FIPS, SOC2), managing access controls, and mitigating vulnerabilities with tools like Snyk and CI/CD scans
  • Managing DevOps tools (Nexus, GitLab, Argo), enhancing productivity, and automating workflows with Python scripts
  • Building and optimizing Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications with a focus on security, scalability, and performance monitoring
  • Debugging and optimizing Linux systems for high availability while addressing anomalies in production and development environments
  • Automating builds using makefiles and Python scripts, integrating tools to streamline delivery pipelines and scalable operations
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
  • 4–6 years of DevOps experience with expertise in tools such as Nexus, GitLab, Argo, Snyk, Docker, Kubernetes, and ELK Stack
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and creating tools to boost developer productivity and system usability
  • Advanced Linux debugging and performance optimization skills, along with knowledge of FIPS standards, SOC2 compliance, and access control frameworks
  • Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines with integrated security, observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and disaster recovery strategies
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Kubernetes Certified Administrator (CKA), AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer, and security certifications like CISSP or CSSLP
  • Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for infrastructure automation and management
  • Advanced expertise in observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack, with a strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and disaster recovery strategies
