About the Role – Senior DevOps Engineer:

We are looking for a
Senior DevOps Engineer
to take ownership of our
cloud infrastructure
,
deployment processes
, and
system reliability
. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you'll lead
Kubernetes operations
, manage
CI/CD pipelines
, and drive
automation
across environments.

You'll collaborate closely with
engineering and product teams
to enable fast, secure, and scalable delivery. From
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
to observability using
Prometheus and Grafana
, you'll help shape and scale the systems that power our platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred).
  • Lead end-to-end Kubernetes operations: provisioning, scaling, upgrades, storage, and production troubleshooting.
  • Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps and ArgoCD.
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Drive observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, and related tools.
  • Automate operational tasks such as scaling, failovers, disaster recovery, and security patching.
  • Develop and manage Helm charts and Kubernetes Operators for standardized, secure deployments.
  • Enforce Kubernetes best practices, including RBAC, Pod Security Policies / OPA / Gatekeeper and resource management.
  • Lead incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and postmortem processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Development, QA, and Product teams to enhance system reliability and delivery speed.
  • Contribute to DevOps documentation, internal knowledge base, and architectural best practices.
  • Continuously improve cloud security posture and drive cost optimization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–9 years of hands-on experience in a
    DevOps
    or
    Site Reliability Engineering
    role.
  • Deep understanding of
    Kubernetes (AKS preferred)
    , including scaling, networking, persistent volumes, and upgrades.
  • Proven experience managing
    cloud infrastructure and services (Azure preferred)
    .
  • Strong expertise with
    Docker
    ,
    Linux
    ,
    Helm
    , and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
  • Proficient in
    Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
    and
    GitOps workflows
    (e.g., ArgoCD).
  • Well-versed in monitoring and observability using
    Prometheus
    ,
    Grafana
    , and
    Azure Monitor
    .
  • Solid understanding of
    cloud-native security
    , identity management, and compliance practices.
  • Strong communication, cross-team collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with
    Istio
    or other service meshes.
  • Exposure to
    security tools and practices
    (e.g., Azure Defender, policy as code, vulnerability scanners).
  • Relevant certifications such as
    CKAD
    ,
    CKA
    , or
    Azure Solutions Architect
    are a plus.
  • Experience with
    cost optimization
    and
    observability at scale
    .
