About the Role

Are you a DevOps Engineer passionate about building scalable and efficient infrastructure for innovative platforms?

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to architect and manage cutting-edge cloud infrastructure for a mission-driven PropTech ecosystem. This is a unique opportunity to design automation pipelines, streamline delivery processes, and create resilient infrastructure that powers sustainable land and property ownership solutions.

You will be a key player in a dynamic and agile team blending deep tech with environmental impact. As a senior team member, you'll mentor juniors, enforce best practices, and lead high-impact initiatives across infrastructure, automation, monitoring, and DevSecOps.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure (preferably on AWS; also exposure to Azure and GCP).
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Set up and manage robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, ELK, etc.).
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, and lead orchestration at scale.
• Develop serverless and event-driven architectures for scalable backend processes (e.g., AWS Lambda).
• Write robust automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Go to streamline operational workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Ensure cloud environments follow security best practices and implement secrets management and access controls.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and QA teams to streamline development lifecycles.
• Optimize infrastructure for cost efficiency while maintaining SLA performance.
• Proactively monitor and enhance system performance, resilience, and observability.
• Maintain documentation and internal tools to support DevOps practices.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident management for critical infrastructure issues.
• Stay abreast of emerging tools, platforms, and trends in DevOps, cloud, and platform engineering.

Requirements

• 68 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
• Deep expertise in AWS and working knowledge of Azure and GCP.
• Strong experience in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Hands-on experience with serverless architecture and event-driven design.
• Scripting expertise in Python (preferred), Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools: Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, ELK.
• In-depth understanding of networking, DNS, SSL, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues and implementing long-term solutions.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with additional configuration tools (Chef, Puppet).
• Exposure to PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases.
• Background in DevSecOps, zero-trust architecture, and secrets management (Vault).
• Experience working in agile, fast-paced startup environments.
• Familiarity with PropTech, AgriTech, or real-time geospatial data platforms.
• Passion for building tech that impacts communities and the environment.
