Job Description Accountant

Company: MR Generators

Position: Accountant

Qualification: B.com Graduate (preferably with a specialization in Accounting or Finance)

Experience: 3 to 5 years

Location: SR Nagar, Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily accounting records utilizing Tally, ERP, or other accounting software.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer reconciliations.

  • Prepare and verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and associated documentation.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Maintain general ledger entries and ensure the accuracy of the books of account.

  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely reporting of transactions.

  • Support compliance with GST, TDS, PF and ESI other statutory regulations as required by governmental authorities.

  • Assist in payroll processing and maintain records related to employee expenses.

  • Collaborate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.

  • Generate Management Information System (MIS) reports and provide them to management for informed financial decision-making.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards.

Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Tally ERP, QuickBooks, or equivalent alternatives.

  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all work.

  • Ability to manage deadlines effectively while multitasking.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

  • It is essential to possess knowledge regarding the process of filing an invoice.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Familiarity with GST, TDS, PF and ESI additional taxation matters.
