Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accountant with at least 1 year of experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations in our International School. The role involves handling financial records, fee collections, vendor payments, and assisting in audits while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including data entry and bookkeeping.
  • Handle student fee collection, reconciliation, and receipts issuance.
  • Maintain accounts payable/receivable and vendor payments.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and school policies.
  • Support the finance department in budgeting and expense tracking.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of Tally/ERP or similar accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles & GST/TDS basics.
  • Accuracy in financial data entry and reconciliation.
  • Good MS Excel and reporting skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Qualifications:

  • B.Com / M.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • Minimum 1 year of accounting experience (preferably in education sector, but not mandatory).
