Position - Design Engineer

Department - Mechanical Design

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, design, and develop new mechanical products and components
  • Create 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, AutoCAD).
  • Ensure designs meet ergonomics, aerodynamics, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Work on surface modeling, Class A/ B/ C surfacing and validate designs for manufacturability.
  • Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for material selection, feasibility, and cost optimization.
  • Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis and ensure designs meet quality standards.
  • Evaluate customer requirements and translate them into functional product designs.

Required Skill -

  • Strong knowledge of automotive design principles, ergonomics, and aerodynamics.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, NX, or AutoCAD).
  • Familiarity with automotive materials (plastics, metals, composites, fabrics, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving, visualization, and creative design skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualification -

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Industrial/Product Design.
  • 2–5 years of experience in product design and development (mechanical domain).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹60,000.00 per month
