Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Incubation Manager to support the operations of our University Incubation Center. This role will play a key part in nurturing student-led startups, facilitating faculty-driven innovations, and engaging with the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem. The ideal candidate is passionate about startups, innovation, and academia, with a strong ability to coordinate programs and manage stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the university incubation center, ensuring smooth operations and startup engagement.
  • Support the onboarding and mentoring of student, faculty, and alumni startups.
  • Coordinate incubation programs, startup bootcamps, idea validation workshops, hackathons, demo days, and pitch events.
  • Liaise with internal departments, faculty mentors, and university leadership to support entrepreneurial initiatives.
  • Build partnerships with investors, industry mentors, government bodies (DST, MeitY, Startup India), and ecosystem enablers.
  • Monitor startup performance and provide regular reporting, documentation, and progress updates.
  • Assist in proposal writing, grant applications, and funding compliance for government-supported incubation schemes.
  • Maintain a startup database and knowledge repository for incubation activities.
  • Support marketing, outreach, and awareness campaigns to promote innovation and entrepreneurship on campus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Science, Innovation Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in startup ecosystems, academic incubators, innovation centers, or entrepreneurship cells.
  • Familiarity with university processes and experience working in or with academic institutions.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and project management tools.
  • Strong interest in supporting early-stage innovation and campus entrepreneurship.
