Role Summary

We are looking for a technically strong and detail-oriented NPD Engineer to convert customer requirements into manufacturable products. This role directly supports growth by developing new fasteners, improving existing products, and ensuring smooth coordination between Production, Quality, Tool Room, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert customer drawings, samples, and requirements into final product designs with accurate technical specifications.
  • Develop prototypes and conduct feasibility analysis to ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Tool Room teams to ensure smooth product development and trial runs.
  • Prepare and maintain all technical documentation including drawings, BOMs, PPAP, and process sheets.
  • Conduct testing, validation, and root-cause analysis during development and ensure timely corrective actions.
  • Support customers with technical queries and ensure product readiness for sampling, approval, and final launch.

What We're Looking For

·      Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

·      2–3 years of experience in product development, preferably in fasteners or precision components.

·      Strong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T.

·      Hands-on experience with tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.

·      Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as cold forging, machining, heat treatment, and surface finishing.

·      Ability to solve problems logically and handle multiple development tasks simultaneously.
