Aditya School of Business Management is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Educational Academic Counsellor to join our dynamic student support team. The ideal candidate will be a passionate mentor, responsible for guiding prospective and current students through their academic journey. You will be the primary point of contact for students, providing them with the necessary information, support, and guidance to ensure their academic and personal success.

  • Key Responsibilities Student Counselling & Guidance: Provide comprehensive counselling to prospective students regarding our various management programs (e.g., MBA, PGDM), including curriculum details, specializations, and career outcomes. Address student and parent inquiries with clarity and professionalism.
  • Admissions Process Management: Assist students with the application and admission process, ensuring all documentation is complete and submitted on time. Guide candidates through entrance exam preparations and interview processes.
  • Academic Advising: Advise current students on course selection, academic planning, and credit requirements. Monitor student academic performance and intervene with support strategies for at-risk students.
  • Career Counselling: Offer basic career guidance, helping students align their academic choices with their long-term career aspirations. Collaborate with the placement cell to provide students with relevant information about industry trends and job opportunities.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and faculty. Act as a liaison between students and the academic departments to resolve any issues.
  • Outreach & Recruitment: Represent ASBM at educational fairs, school visits, and virtual information sessions. Participate in developing and implementing student recruitment strategies.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential student records. Prepare regular reports on student enrollment, retention, and academic progress.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in academic counselling, student affairs, or a similar role, preferably within a business school or higher education institution.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a high degree of empathy and emotional intelligence.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with Student Information Systems (SIS) or CRM software.
  • Desired Skills: A genuine passion for mentoring and helping students succeed.
  • In-depth knowledge of the management education landscape in India.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • High ethical standards and respect for confidentiality.
