Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Corporate Chef based in Kochi at Rapos Hospitality Pvt Ltd. The Corporate Chef will oversee all kitchen operations for a fast-casual restaurant, including menu planning, food preparation, staff training, and maintaining quality and food safety standards. Responsibilities include developing and refining recipes, managing the kitchen team, ensuring consistency in food quality across locations, optimizing operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Strong culinary skills in preparing shawarma, grilled dishes, and fast-casual cuisine
  • Expertise in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation
  • Experience in team management, including training and supervising kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and inventory management
  • Problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking skills under high-paced environments
  • A passion for delivering high-quality and flavorful food consistently
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience as a chef, with experience in fast-casual or casual dining highly preferred
  • Formal culinary training or equivalent professional experience is desirable
