This position will be responsible to perform Radiography (Computed Radiography and Digital Radiography), Fluoroscopy guided procedures, OPG, 'C' Arm image intensifier operation, BMD, CT and PACS operation. 2. It is your responsibility to perform duties as assigned by the Group Manager & RSO in his presents and absence.You are also responsible to explain the patient politely in an understanding language about the preparation for various type of Radiological procedures. 4. Perform all diagnostic procedures and assist radiologist in the procedure. Do as instructed by the Radiologist. 5. Responsible for the care, safety and physical comfort of the patient undergoing the diagnostic procedure. 6. Responsible for placing proper immobilization devices and protective shielding on the patient and shall take the necessary protective measures for them and all other personnel in the radiation area. 7. Advice the patient about the diagnostic procedure to be undergone and the preparation required for it. 8. Prepare and administer necessary radiographic contrast media to prepare a patient for the diagnostic procedures. Observe the patient for adverse reactions to these contrast agents and report regarding the same. 9. Prepare and maintain proper soft records and reports of the procedures done for the patients. 10. Responsible for minor maintenance of the equipment and shall report to the Group Manager & RSO regarding any equipment malfunctioning 11. Ensure the privacy and dignity of the patient. 12. It is the responsibility of the Radiographer to take care of the radiation generating equipments. 13. You are responsible for radiation safety and protection of patient, public and staff in coordination with Group Manager & RSO. 14. You have to take care of radiation monitoring device like TLD badges and radiation protection devices. 15. It is your responsibility to maintain the accountability of consumable and non-consumable items correctly. 16. You have to participate the Departmental and management training. 17. You will be responsible for any loss / theft / damage / defect of KIMS property while you are on duty. 18. Maintain absolute confidentiality of all information pertaining to patients, families, and staff and adhere to all hospital rules.
