You are required to take advice of concerned doctors & Chief Cath Lab technician before you doing the procedures. 2. You will be responsible for smooth functioning of Cath Lab and ensure coordination between doctors and other staff in the Cath lab so that all procedures are done with a team spirit. 3. The Cath Lab Technician is responsible for appointment (Scheduling procedures in consultation with concerned doctor), so that Cath Lab may be engaged with maximum procedures at a reasonable time. 4. The Cath Lab Technician is the custodian and the authorized person to operate all the equipment's including CATH LAB, Digital console, Workstation, Electro physiology system (EP Machine), Hemodynamic system and Oximeter etc. 5. Provide technical support during all type of procedures, ensuring patient safety accurate record keeping in accordance to departmental standards (this includes operating the machine, setting the Haemodynamic system & organizing materials for the procedure). 6. Patient monitoring, Haemodynamic, recording and making worksheet for every procedure. 7. Post procedure work editing, measuring, transferring and recording of data on hard disc. 8. You will be responsible to attend on call duties as per the schedule. Responsible for periodical inspection of all machines, it's working conditions and cleanliness every day before starting the procedures. 10. Preserving interventional items for reuse. 11. Maintaining main register (details of patient, procedure & materials used) 12. Maintaining CD library according to Cath no. of all procedures. 13. Issuing CD & report to patient. 14. Billing of Procedures & consumables (including consignment items). 15. Co-coordinating with other depts. Like biomedical, supporting services for the smooth functioning of Cath Lab. 16. Maintain available stock of materials (catheters, wires, sheaths etc & checking of expiry date also. 17. Keeping a consignment stock of expensive items (stunts, balloons etc) 18. Forwarding consignment invoices to the Purchase / Accounts department. 19. Preparing monthly statistics of the dept. 20. Preparing CD & case sheet for weekly Cath meeting. 21. Making arrangements to have procedures in convenient time for other departments (e.g. Radiology) & visiting consultants, Maintaining other documents & registers like major complications chart, performance indicator, consumption register, CD/ report dispatch register, GRN (consignment) registers & bill book etc. 23. CCLT will give leadership to all technical and academic work in the Cath lab.
