  • Structural Design:
  • Develop detailed structural designs for precast, steel, RCC, and PB (Pre-Engineered Building) structures.
  • Analyse load calculations, stress factors, and structural stability as per project requirements.
  • Project Coordination:
  • Collaborate with architects, MEP designers, and project managers to ensure designs align with project goals.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure the feasibility of design execution on-site.
  • Software Proficiency:
  • Create detailed structural drawings using software like STAAD Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD, or Tekla.
  • Perform finite element analysis and simulations as needed.
  • Compliance and Standards:
  • Ensure all designs meet IS Codes, local building codes, and safety standards.
  • Prepare documentation for design approval, permits, and compliance verification.
  • Technical Support:
  • Provide technical inputs during the execution phase of the project.
  • Inspect sites to verify structural integrity and adherence to designs.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Mentor junior designers and provide guidance for complex structural projects.
  • Support the preparation of proposals, cost estimation, and design presentations for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. A Master's degree is a plus.

  • Experience:

5-10 years of experience in structural design, specifically in PB (Pre-Engineered Building) and RCC structures.

  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of structural design codes (IS Codes, ACI, Eurocodes, etc.).
  • Expertise in design software (STAAD Pro, ETABS, Tekla, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Familiarity with material specifications (steel, concrete, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
