Our Portfolio & Risk Analytics (PORT Enterprise) solution helps portfolio and risk managers achieve performance and risk objectives by providing unmatched transparency into each portfolio's historical attribution, characteristics, and ex-ante risk. From one centralized location, our series of powerful, integrated multi-asset tools deliver consistent and detailed insight into the client's portfolio. Utilizing this service enables our enterprise clients to create and execute differentiating investment strategies accordingly.

What's the role?

As part of the PORT Support team, you will work in a client facing role which involves liaising with portfolio and risk managers, analysts, quants, traders, and back/middle-office professionals. We are looking for individuals with a basic level of understanding of Financial Markets, Economic Theory, Portfolio Attribution/Performance, Portfolio Risk/Tracking Error, and Asset Class Characteristics/Analytics/Performance Calculations. You will help support our largest buy-side PORT Enterprise clients' complex questions involving portfolio performance, security analytics, risk, and workflow setup.

This is a highly visible role with opportunities for career advancement and growth within the department or company, such as becoming a Product Advocate within the team, or progressing to a PORT Enterprise Sales role, moving into a leadership position, or pursuing a role in our Product or Implementation teams.

We'll trust you to:

• Build a comprehensive understanding of the features and capabilities of our portfolio product offering, through training and on-the-job learning in order to manage client queries quickly and efficiently
• Troubleshoot issues pertaining to the PORT Enterprise product, while assessing any potential business and/or operational impact
• Identify gaps and opportunities to introduce best practices and new processes to enhance efficiency and a keen desire to improve on existing processes
• Collaborate extensively with our Portfolio Implementation, Portfolio Sales, and Portfolio Engineering teams to improve our clients' experience, and overall performance of our technology
• Foster excellent relationships with key PORT Enterprise clients to improve their overall experience in using the product
• Manage client expectations through timely and effective communications during systemic issues or escalations
• Raise issues and liaise with Product and Engineering for enhancements or any others remediation requested by clients
• Leverage Python to automate internal processes and build Python-based functions on internal applications which are to be used for conditional validation on large data sets

You'll need to have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services or a financial technology company
• Experience in Fixed Income and other financial instruments, associated cash-flows, and analytics
• Hands-on experience working with Python
• Attention to detail with strong analytical skills to evaluate problems and provide solutions
• Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, to drive and implement ideas in a changing environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications – Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint and Word
• Strong presentation and communication skills in English

We'd love to see:

• Understanding of workflows used by portfolio managers, risk and attribution specialists
• Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, Visio
