About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with strong experience in Advanced SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing data pipelines, building interactive dashboards, and providing actionable insights that help drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data integration and transformation.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI for business performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify key metrics, define KPIs, and deliver data-driven insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
  • Optimize database queries and data pipelines for better performance and scalability.
  • Automate recurring data processes and reporting tasks.
  • Document analytical processes, dashboards, and data flows.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Advanced SQL proficient in complex joins, window functions, CTEs, subqueries, and performance tuning.
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF) experience in creating pipelines, data flows, and linked services.
  • Power BI hands-on experience in building dashboards, DAX calculations, and data modeling.

Other Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Azure Synapse, Data Lake, or other cloud-based data storage solutions.
  • Knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and automation.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL concepts.
  • Understanding of business intelligence (BI) and data governance best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to machine learning, predictive analytics, or Azure ML.
  • Experience in agile environments and working with cross-functional teams.
