SEO Specialist

This is a full-time role for an SEO Specialist. The role involves conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, optimizing web pages, and building quality backlinks. The specialist will also analyze web traffic and user behavior using analytics tools to improve overall website performance and search rankings. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure SEO best practices are applied and regular reporting on SEO performance will be key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in any discipline.
• 3-4 years of experience in SEO, preferably in the e-commerce domain.
• Notice period: Maximum 45 days.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and execute end-to-end SEO strategies for Electronics Bazaar to drive organic growth and achieve business objectives.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Content teams to ensure technical and content optimizations are prioritized and executed.
• Responsible for on-site SEO, including content enhancement, authority building, and conversion optimization.
• Perform in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and identify new growth opportunities.
• Stay abreast of latest industry trends, Google algorithm updates, and emerging SEO technologies.
• Analyze organic performance data to develop actionable insights and iterative improvements.
• Ensure all practices comply with search engine guidelines

Experience

• Proficiency in Keyword Research and On-Page SEO techniques
• Expertise in keyword research, opportunity sizing, and ranking competitive terms.
• Strong track record in delivering SEO growth for B2C, marketplace, or ecommerce websites.
• Experience in performing detailed SEO Audits and implementing improvements
• Strong skills in Link Building, authority building and understanding backlink strategies
• Knowledge of Web Analytics tools such as Google Analytics to track performance
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and present data insights
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, etc.).
• Deep understanding of technical SEO (site architecture, schema markup, page speed, sitemaps, , canonicalization, etc.)
• Experience developing and executing link-building and authority-building strategies.
• Understanding of both white hat and black hat tactics and comprehensive knowledge of Google's Webmaster Guidelines/Google Search Essentials.

Good to Have (AEO/GEO Work)

• Experience with Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), including optimizing content for featured snippets, FAQ schema, and voice search queries.
• Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), particularly strategies to surface answers in AI-powered search engines (Perplexity, Google SGE, Bing Copilot, etc.).
• Knowledge of schema markup for enhanced visibility (FAQ, How-to, Review, etc.).
• Experience with emerging SERP formats triggered by AI-generated answers.
