Role Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented
Senior Accounts Executive
to join our Finance & Accounts team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations and ensure statutory compliance while also supporting the preparation of monthly financial statements and MIS reports. We're looking for someone who can
track and report income and expenses, assist in monthly financial analysis, and generate insights for management decision-making.
You will play a key role in supporting audits, ensuring compliance, maintaining records, and helping the company maintain financial discipline as we scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and vouchers
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare and file statutory returns such as GST, TDS, PF, and ESI, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
  • Assist in the preparation of
    monthly financial statements
    , including
    Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet
    , and supporting schedules
  • Generate and analyze MIS reports to provide financial insights to support management decision-making
  • Maintain and regularly update fixed asset registers
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and statutory guidelines
  • Efficiently work on accounting software (Tally) and maintain digital and physical accounting records

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent; CA Inter/ICWA Inter preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances
  • Hands-on experience with Tally and MS Excel
  • Experience with MIS reporting and monthly financial tracking
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and coordination skills
