Senior Accountant

Description

The Senior Accountant shall play a pivotal role in our organization in the BFSI sector, focusing on financial management and accounting processes.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and finance, particularly in the Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) space. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of regulatory frameworks and standards, and must excel in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws. Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely accounting entries.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning initiatives.
  • Provide insights on financial performance and recommend improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting the NBFC sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com).
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the BFSI industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Expertise in financial reporting software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
