Job Summary:

We are looking for a Work Order & Dispatch Executive to manage daily production and dispatch operations at our factory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating work orders, ensuring accurate packaging and documentation, and managing dispatches to customers, distributors, and warehouses. This role requires excellent coordination between production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely and error-free delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work Order Management

  2. Receive and verify sales/work orders from the sales or accounts team.

  3. Plan daily dispatch schedules based on production availability and priority.
  4. Coordinate with the production team to ensure the right quantities and SKUs are ready for dispatch.

  5. Update work order status in Tally or ERP system.

  6. Dispatch Planning & Execution

  7. Prepare dispatch documents: delivery challans, invoices, packing lists, and e-way bills.

  8. Coordinate with transporters/logistics partners for pickup and delivery.
  9. Ensure goods are packed, labeled, and palletized correctly as per client or channel requirements.

  10. Maintain dispatch logs, transport details, and proof of delivery.

  11. Inventory Coordination

  12. Verify stock availability before dispatch.

  13. Work closely with the warehouse/store team to ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) method is followed.

  14. Reconcile daily dispatch vs stock reports.

  15. Coordination & Reporting

  16. Act as the key link between production, logistics, and accounts.

  17. Prepare daily and weekly dispatch reports for management review.
  18. Flag any delays, shortages, or discrepancies immediately.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Commerce / Supply Chain / Logistics or equivalent.
  • 2–4 years of experience in dispatch, warehouse, or factory operations (FMCG preferred).
  • Knowledge of Tally ERP or similar systems is mandatory.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
