Roles & Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment in STP, WTP, ETP & RO plants.
  • Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of pumps, motors, blowers, compressors, dosing systems, and electrical panels.
  • Carry out electrical works including wiring, cabling, earthing, and basic control panel troubleshooting.
  • Conduct alignment, lubrication, and replacement of mechanical parts as per schedule.
  • Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Monitor equipment performance and ensure smooth plant operations.
  • Maintain logbooks, service records, and report equipment status to the Site Incharge.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with site standards.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electro-Mechanical discipline.
  • Experience: 3 - 5 years in maintenance of water & wastewater treatment plants (STP/WTP/ETP/RO).
  • Strong knowledge of pumps, motors, blowers, compressors, and dosing systems.
  • Basic understanding of electrical panels, starters, MCC, and VFDs.
  • Ability to handle both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting independently.
  • Good knowledge of safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Team player with strong problem-solving and reporting skills.
