Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team in the automobile industry. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of vehicle parts, hands-on experience in part inspection and quality control, and excellent English communication skills for effective coordination with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspection of automotive parts and assemblies.
  • Ensure that all components and assemblies meet defined quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Support new product development and supplier quality activities.
  • Maintain and update inspection reports, quality documentation, and control plans.
  • Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, and other automotive quality standards.
  • Communicate inspection results, quality issues, and resolutions clearly and effectively in English.
  • Train production and inspection staff on quality standards and procedures.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive parts, components, and assemblies.
  • Inspection Expertise: Experience with measurement tools (Vernier, Micrometre, Height Gauge, CMM, etc.) and visual inspection techniques.
  • Quality Tools: Familiarity with 7 QC Tools, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, and Control Plans.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written English communication for reporting and coordination.
  • Documentation: Ability to prepare inspection reports, NCRs, and other quality records accurately.
  • Teamwork: Collaborative attitude and willingness to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or related field.
  • 1 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in the automobile industry.
  • Working knowledge of ISO/IATF quality standards preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI).
