Your Role

Role Overview: 

As an AEM DAM Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining digital asset management solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). You will collaborate with creative, marketing, and engineering teams to streamline asset workflows, enhance metadata strategies, and ensure efficient asset delivery across channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain AEM DAM components, workflows, and integrations.
  • Configure and manage metadata schemas, asset renditions, and tagging strategies.
  • Implement custom asset ingestion workflows and automate asset lifecycle processes.
  • Integrate AEM DAM with external systems such as Creative Cloud, Brand Portals, and third-party CMSs.
  • Ensure governance, access control, and performance optimization of DAM repositories.
  • Collaborate with UX, content, and marketing teams to support asset delivery and personalization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to asset ingestion, search, and delivery.

    Expertise in AEM Assets, including asset workflows, renditions, metadata management, and folder structures.
  • Java & Sling Framework
    Strong backend development skills for building custom components and services within AEM.
  • Apache Jackrabbit & JCR (Java Content Repository)
    Deep understanding of content storage, retrieval, and query mechanisms in AEM.
  • Workflow Development & Automation
    Experience creating and customizing workflows using AEM's workflow engine and Process Step APIs.
  • Integration with Creative Tools & APIs
    Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud integrations, RESTful APIs, and asset delivery mechanisms.
