DescriptionJob Overview  

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated tax professionals who should be financial expert with advanced training and knowledge of UK tax accounting and tax laws to work for Financial Consulting Services business. You must be qualified as per UK accounting standards and must have extensive experience with Capital Allowances and Tax Depreciation.

You should possess an extraordinary analytical and logical reasoning ability. You should also have good communication skills and the ability to meet client's demands.

Responsibilities  
  • Preparing annual and quarterly annual tax compliance.
  • Understanding and researching on tax laws.
  • Meeting the clients and educating them with the best practices.
  • Maintaining a healthy relationship with the clients.
  • Recommending tax improvements in the company's process.
  • Submitting the tax before the settlement dates.
  • Liaising Revenue, Customs and Tax Departments.
  • Supervising projects as assigned by the Head of Capital Allowances.
  • Utilizing and managing tax reporting software.
  • Identifying tax risks and developing tax strategies.
  • Monitoring legislative and regulatory tax law developments.
  • Managing tax provision and tax compliance procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with the rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelors in Commerce, Accounting, Taxation. Master's degree in the Accounting discipline.
  • Proven work experience as a Tax Specialist, Tax Manager, or a similar position.
  • Sound knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Extraordinary mathematics and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Tax reporting software.
  • A sharp eye for details for accuracy.
  • Good analytical and logical skills.
  • Ability to multitasks efficiently.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
