AR Manager – Egypt

Job Purpose:

To manage and accurately record customer collections, ensure timely reconciliations of accounts, and support AR operations for Metra's UAE-based companies from a remote location in India. The role demands precision in SAP-based accounting, adherence to internal controls, and effective cross-functional communication.

Key Responsibilities: Collection Booking & Posting

  • Daily recording of collections (bank transfers, cheques, etc.) in SAP.
  • Accurate application of receipts against invoices as per internal policies.

Customer Account Reconciliation

  • Regular reconciliation and review of customer accounts.
  • Resolve unapplied or misapplied payments.
  • Maintain accurate aging reports and flag overdue balances.

Validation & Internal Controls

  • Ensure all receipts have proper documentation and comply with internal controls.
  • Report irregularities or exceptions to the AR Manager.
  • Support audit and internal review documentation needs.

Reporting & Month-End Close

  • Prepare accurate collection and aging reports.
  • Assist in monthly and year-end AR close processes.

Cross-Functional Communication

  • Coordinate with billing, sales, and treasury teams in UAE.
  • Serve as remote support for UAE customer-related AR activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–4 years in Accounts Receivable or General Accounting.
  • Mandatory experience with SAP.
  • Strong Excel skills; comfort with remote collaboration tools.
  • Preferred: Experience with cross-border or multi-entity accounting.

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong reconciliation and analytical capabilities.
  • Self-driven and able to work independently.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of UAE VAT/accounting standards (preferred).

Work Conditions:

  • Remote work from India.
  • Working hours aligned to UAE business hours.
  • ERP System: SAP
  • Reports to AR Manager based in Egypt.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
