Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records for US-based books of accounts. The ideal candidate should be familiar with US accounting practices, skilled in bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks, Zoho or Xero, and capable of handling multiple clients or business entities, if required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions (invoices, bills, payments, receipts).
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a regular basis.
  • Process employee expense reports and reimbursements.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports such as P&L statements and balance sheets.
  • Maintain proper filing and organization of financial documents.
  • Assist with sales tax filings, 1099 preparation, and payroll entries if required.
  • Ensure financial data is recorded accurately and in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Coordinate with Sr. Accountants and tax preparers during audits and tax season.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3 -5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in handling US based Clients or Companies.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Zoho or Xero accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and bank reconciliations.
  • Good Excel/Google Sheets skills (basic formulas, reconciliations, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Working Hours:

  • Must be available to work in US time zones (or partially overlapping hours depending on team needs).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40, ₹50,000.00 per month
