Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Gurugram/onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning & Design
  • Prepare detailed project timelines, budgets, and milestones for caf construction and interiors.
  • Work with architects, designers, and contractors to create a caf aligned with local aesthetics and sustainability principles.
  • Vendor & Procurement
  • Identify and manage vendors for construction, interiors, furniture, kitchen equipment, and utilities.
  • Negotiate costs, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure smooth supply chain logistics despite remote Himalayan terrain.
  • Construction & Infrastructure Oversight
  • Supervise site preparation, civil works, interiors, utilities (power, water, internet).
  • Ensure safe and environment-friendly construction practices.
  • Manage day-to-day progress, quality control, and issue resolution.
  • Compliance & Approvals
  • Obtain necessary local government permits, F&B licenses, and environmental clearances.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and legal requirements.
  • Launch Preparation
  • Set up kitchen, furniture, dcor, and technology systems (POS, Wi-Fi, billing).
  • Coordinate trial runs and ensure readiness for soft launch.
  • Document handover plan for operations team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, hospitality setups, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong background in vendor management, procurement, and construction supervision.
  • Ability to work in remote, high-altitude environments with limited resources.
  • Excellent problem-solving, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with local communities, contractors, and stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience in F&B projects, boutique hotels, or caf setups.
  • Knowledge of eco-friendly construction and sustainable design.
