Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager with Minimum 7–8 years of proven experience in the Constructive Equipment's industry ( Excavators/ Backhoe Loaders ) to oversee our vehicle service operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the service department, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, maintaining operational efficiency, and leading a team of technicians and service advisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Service Operations:
- Oversee daily service department operations, ensuring workflow efficiency, timely vehicle servicing, and compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor and improve service processes for enhanced productivity and customer experience.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
- Conduct training and performance evaluations to maintain a high level of technical and customer service skills.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Address and resolve customer complaints and escalations promptly and professionally.
- Foster strong relationships with customers to build loyalty and increase repeat business.
- Business Development:
- Drive revenue growth through up selling of service packages, parts, and accessories.
- Analyze service sales performance and implement strategies to achieve targets.
- Inventory & Cost Control:
- Manage spare parts inventory in coordination with the parts department.
- Monitor and control department expenses while maintaining service quality.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain documentation and records as per statutory and audit requirements.
Requirements:
- Experience: 7–8 years in the automotive industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Education: Diploma/B.Tech/Degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or related field.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing service teams.
- Customer Orientation: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service.
- Software Proficiency: Familiar with DMS (Dealer Management System) software and service CRM tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with premium or multi-brand dealerships.
- Certification in automotive service management
- Proficiency in handling warranty claims and audit processes.
