Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager with Minimum 7–8 years of proven experience in the Constructive Equipment's industry ( Excavators/ Backhoe Loaders ) to oversee our vehicle service operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the service department, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, maintaining operational efficiency, and leading a team of technicians and service advisors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Service Operations:
  • Oversee daily service department operations, ensuring workflow efficiency, timely vehicle servicing, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Monitor and improve service processes for enhanced productivity and customer experience.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and motivate a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
  • Conduct training and performance evaluations to maintain a high level of technical and customer service skills.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and escalations promptly and professionally.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to build loyalty and increase repeat business.
  • Business Development:
  • Drive revenue growth through up selling of service packages, parts, and accessories.
  • Analyze service sales performance and implement strategies to achieve targets.
  • Inventory & Cost Control:
  • Manage spare parts inventory in coordination with the parts department.
  • Monitor and control department expenses while maintaining service quality.
  • Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain documentation and records as per statutory and audit requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 7–8 years in the automotive industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Education: Diploma/B.Tech/Degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or related field.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing service teams.
  • Customer Orientation: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiar with DMS (Dealer Management System) software and service CRM tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with premium or multi-brand dealerships.
  • Certification in automotive service management
  • Proficiency in handling warranty claims and audit processes.
