JD - Sr. Consultant (Operational Excellence & Expansion)

Essential:

  • Masters Degree in Public Health, Healthcare Management, Operations Management, or related discipline from a recognised institution.

Desirable:

  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma, Project Management (PMP /PRINCE2), or Quality Improvement methodologies.

Essential:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in large-scale programme operations, preferably in public health, health insurance.
  • Proven expertise in workflow design, operational process optimisation, and performance monitoring.
  • Experience in developing SOPs, operational protocols, and quality assurance mechanisms.

Desirable.

  • Experience in implementing expansion strategies for national-level government programmes.
  • Familiarity with government reporting structures, inter-ministerial coordination, and state-level implementation dynamics.

I. Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and consistency in implementation.

II. Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.

III. Develop performance tracking systems and dashboards for convergence operations.

IV. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics, ensuring timely corrective action.

V. Conduct periodic operational audits to assess adherence to processes and protocols.

VI. Identify opportunities for scaling convergence to new departments, and partner schemes.

VII. Facilitate operational readiness for expansion, including infrastructure, workforce, and process alignment.

VIII. Support pilot projects and phased roll-outs, ensuring lessons learned are incorporated into national guidelines.

IX. Conduct training sessions for PMU teams on operational protocols and process improvements.

X. Document best practices and case studies for replication and scale-up.

XI. Serve as a key point of contact for operational aspects of convergence initiatives.
