  • Maintaining cleanliness Stewards are responsible for keeping the dining area, kitchen, and service areas clean and sanitary. This includes restocking serving stations, rolling and replacing cutlery, and clearing tables.
  • Customer service Stewards may greet patrons, take reservations, answer phone calls, and provide menus. They may also assist with basic cooking tasks like blending soups and prepping vegetables.
  • Safety and sanitation Stewards ensure that all safety and sanitation procedures are followed. They may also identify and report potential hazards.
  • Crowd management Stewards may manage crowds at events, including directing traffic and ensuring that viewing areas aren't overcrowded.
  • Security Stewards may provide security and assurance to attendees at events.
  • Incident response Stewards may respond to incidents, such as fires or medical emergencies, by communicating with the control point and taking immediate action.
