Role Purpose

This individual is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, handling treasury functions, and ensuring statutory compliance. They will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of all activities within the Accounts Department.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Directors Accounts Management

  2. Handle personal accounts of the Director including expenses, and other financial transactions.

  3. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in financial records.

  4. Prepare periodic reports on personal finances as required.

  5. Company Accounts Management

  6. Manage day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, vendor/customer payments, and receivables.

  7. Maintain general ledgers, trial balance, P&L statements, and balance sheet.
  8. Ensure timely closure of monthly and annual accounts.

  9. Coordinate with external auditors for statutory audits.

  10. Taxation & GST

  11. Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual return, etc.) on time.

  12. Ensure TDS, advance tax, and income tax compliance for both Director and company.
  13. Stay updated with latest tax regulations and implement necessary changes.

  14. Liaise with consultants, CAs, and tax authorities whenever required.

  15. Compliance & Documentation

  16. Maintain all financial records, invoices, and supporting documents systematically.

  17. Ensure statutory compliance with GST, TDS, PF/ESIC .
  18. Handle ROC filings and company secretarial coordination (if required).

5. Provide assistance in financial reporting

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting for management review.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the Director for decision-making.

  • Monitor cash flows and working capital requirements.

  • Other Duties

  • Coordinate with banks for loans, credit facilities, and related documentation.

  • Ensure confidentiality in handling sensitive data.
  • Support any additional finance/accounting requirements as assigned by management.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP / SAP / any accounting software.
  • Strong MS Excel and reporting skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter preferred.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation, and GST compliance.
  • Experience in handling both personal and corporate accounts will be an advantage.
