Job Title: Junior Software Project Manager / Project Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager / Project Coordinator to support the planning, tracking, and execution of software development projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring tasks are clearly defined, deadlines are met, and deliverables are aligned with client expectations. The role will also involve assisting with RFP analysis, software development estimation, and documentation to support pre-sales and bidding processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination

· Break down project requirements into well-defined software development tasks.

· Assign tasks to developers and designers using tools like Proofhub, Jira, Trello etc.

· Monitor progress, track timelines, and ensure sprint goals are met.

· Conduct daily stand-ups and weekly progress reviews with the team.

· Identify project risks or delays and escalate appropriately.

Client and Stakeholder Communication

· Maintain regular updates to stakeholders on project status and timelines.

· Collaborate with product owners and technical leads to clarify requirements and priorities.

· Help prepare project plans, timelines, and status reports for client communication.

RFP & Pre-sales Analysis

· Read and analyze RFPs (Request for Proposals) and tender documents to extract technical and functional requirements.

· Collaborate with solution architects to prepare project plans and technical documentation.

· Assist in preparing effort estimations, resource plans, and delivery timelines.

· Participate in proposal preparation and ensure compliance with client expectations.

Process & Documentation

· Maintain project documentation including scope, task lists, delivery trackers, and change logs.

· Support QA coordination and deployment scheduling.

· Contribute to improving internal processes and project delivery templates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· 3 to 5 years of experience in project coordination or junior project management roles.

· Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

· Excellent command over Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Word.

· Experience working with project/task management tools like Proofhub, Jira, Trello, Asana etc.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to understand and break down technical requirements.

· Basic understanding of software estimation techniques (function point, story points, etc.).

· Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

· Hands-on experience with Gantt charts or project tracking dashboards.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

· Experience working in a work environment having process frameworks similar to ISO 9001, CMMI Level3

· Exposure to client interaction or vendor coordination.

· Familiarity with RFP analysis and proposal creation.
