Job Summary:

The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. The role ensures that all plumbing work complies with safety regulations and quality standards in the field of gardening, irrigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan plumbing layouts.
  • Diagnose plumbing problems and perform appropriate repairs efficiently.
  • Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functionality.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and respond promptly to service requests.
  • Adhere to safety standards and building codes during all plumbing activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure timely project completion.

Requirements:

  • Have a Diploma or Trade Certificate from Vocational training unit with full apprenticeship training.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a plumber in construction, maintenance, or facility operations.
  • Ability to read and understand plumbing schematics and technical documents.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of local plumbing codes and safety practices.
  • Driving license preferred.
  • Basic communication skills in English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
