  • Support Skilled Tradespeople: Assist electricians, fitters, plumbers, and carpenters with their tasks and projects. Prepare Work Areas: Set up and clean work sites, prepare tools, and ensure equipment is ready for use.
  • Material Handling: Lift, move, and organize construction or manufacturing materials and equipment.
  • General Labor: Perform tasks like painting, cleaning, rubbish removal, and basic digging or concreting.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Inspect tools and equipment, tag faulty items, and report them for repair.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures, wear personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean and secure work environment.
  • Basic Measurements and Calculations: Take measurements and perform simple calculations as needed for a project.
  • On-the-Job Learning: Gain experience and learn new skills and techniques through hands-on training and observation of skilled tradespeople.
