Xurrent, Inc. ("Xurrent") designates a Senior Software Engineer. The Senior Software Engineer - Integrations at Xurrent will be a key contributor to the development of Integrations with different platforms. Leveraging your expertise in Ruby on Rails and Workato you will lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality Integrations.Your mission will be to drive technical excellence, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and impactful product features.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Lead Ruby on Rails (RoR) Developer, located in Bengaluru. The Senior Lead will design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient RoR applications. Responsibilities include collaborating with a cross-functional team to gather requirements, troubleshooting complex issues, providing mentorship to junior developers, ensuring code quality through reviews, and staying updated with the latest RoR trends to enhance application performance and functionality.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of Ruby and Ruby on Rails (RoR), alongside proven experience building and maintaining scalable web applications
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 to deliver intuitive user interfaces
  • Strong understanding of databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, and familiarity with RESTful API development and architecture
  • Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and writing unit and integration tests
  • Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement
  • Problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and ability to design scalable application architecture
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
  • Additional familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, and DevOps practices is a plus
