Support DEC Group with creation, update and review of technical files for projects and DEC equipment, nsuring conformity to Good Engineering Practice, Equipment Directives and worldwide industry standards nd regulations.

JOB ROLE

Main responsibilities

1. Creation, review and update of technical documentation for projects and equipment.

2. Creation of testing and qualification documentation for projects.

3. Management of document traceability. Responsible for document transmissions to/from

customers, throughout the project lifecycle (kick-off to installation).

1. Update of Group internal standards and guidance documents.

2. Issue of internal technical documents and guidance onto Group intranet system.

Activities/tasks

1. Creation of Installation, Operating and Maintenance manuals. Interaction with mechanical designers, automation and project managers amongst others.

2. Creation of Safety notes for DEC equipment, where required.

3. Review and update of technical datasheets for DEC equipment.

4. Creation of testing documentation and protocols, for equipment qualification.

5. Creation of conformity and/or traceability matrices to assess and demonstrate conformance with customer requirements.

6. Transmittal/reception of and control of traceability for project documentation between DEC and Client.

7. For specific projects, manages the Vendor Document Schedule reminding deadlines and deficiencies to the Team.

8. When necessary, attends internal project kick-off meetings to discuss the Documentation requirements and documents extent (offer outcome).

9. Update of Group internal standards and guidance documents as required.

10. Assist the Standardization / Industrialization and Validation & Documentation teams to issue internal technical documents and guidance onto Group intranet system.

11. Have technical accuracy in writing user and testing documentation.

12. Is committed to learn and keep abreast of Dec Groups standards and main relevant European & International Laws. Shares knowledge with the Team.

13. Respects the documents conformity to standards. Controls document revisions consistency, correct use of companys templates and Groups SOPs.

14. May be required to perform other duties as per service requirements.

PROFILE

• You have a degree in Engineering and have experience in an industrial environment (min 5 to 7 years) in Technical Documentation management and generation of, within an engineering project consultancy, a pharmaceutical company or oil & gas group.
• Good attention to detail and conformity to quality standards. Understanding of mechanical equipment and automation software is an advantage.
• Open minded and will be working in a multicultural environment, with all genders.
• Proficient in English, both speaking and writing. Any additional languages are an advantage.
• Experienced in Microsoft Office package, in particular, high level of expertise in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat. Experience of professional drawing packages (e.g. CorelDraw / Photoshop).
• Flexibility to travel to Europe occasionally.
