The Chef de Partie (Chinese) is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting authentic Chinese dishes with consistency and quality. This role requires strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, wok handling, hygiene, and kitchen coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook Chinese dishes as per the menu (wok, dim sum, noodles, soups, gravies, etc.).
  • Maintain high levels of food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Ensure proper station setup before service and maintain cleanliness throughout.
  • Follow recipes, portion standards, and plating guidelines.
  • Manage and supervise Commis chefs working in the Chinese section.
  • Assist in planning specials, menu updates, and new Chinese dishes.
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards as per FSSAI guidelines.
  • Control wastage and maintain stock levels for ingredients used in the Chinese kitchen.
  • Coordinate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef for smooth kitchen operations.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and work area in good condition.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Chinese cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking methods (wok, stir-fry, steaming, frying).
  • Ability to handle high-volume kitchen operations.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Cantonese, Sichuan, or Indo-Chinese cuisine.
  • Creativity in developing new dishes.
  • Time management and multitasking skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹28,000.00 per month
