What you'll do

• Develop and maintain core components of the Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM) tool used for system provisioning tasks across SAP landscapes.
• Implement and enhance provisioning procedures for system installation, system copy, system rename, and transformation across ABAP and Java stacks.
• Ensure compatibility and support for a wide range of operating systems and databases (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL Server, IBM Db2, SAP MaxDB, ASE).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of SAP systems within the business.
• Maintain high code quality through rigorous testing, including automated and manual test scenarios.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP installations and upgrades.
• Analyse and resolve defects and performance issues in provisioning processes.
• Provide technical documentation and support for internal stakeholders and customers.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in SAP technologies and provide recommendations for enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and company policies.

What you bring

• Minimum 8 years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, Shell scripting, and SAP SWPM usage.
• Hands-on experience in System Administration across Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience with SQL Coding and DB Administration.
• Solid understanding of system provisioning across diverse platforms and databases.
• Good to have: experience with ABAP coding, DBA Cockpit version control systems, and automated testing.
• Familiarity with SAP's System Lifecycle and Provisioning Tools (SWPM, SUM, etc.) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively across global teams.
• Commitment to code quality, maintainability, and continuous improvement.

We specialize in Database Porting activities, ensuring that ABAP-based applications run efficiently across all supported database platforms. Our mission is to abstract database dependencies, enabling SAP Business Suite and BTP ABAP environments to operate smoothly on diverse infrastructures.
