Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable individual to join our team as a Warehouse Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently loading/unloading goods, ensuring safe handling, and maintaining an organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and other vehicles. Handle products with care to avoid damage.
  • Material Handling: Move goods to designated areas using manual or mechanical methods (hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts). Sort and organize products as per company standards.
  • Quality Control: Inspect items for damage or discrepancies during loading/unloading. Report any issues to the supervisor immediately.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and wear protective gear. Use proper lifting techniques at all times.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Keep the loading/unloading area clean and hazard-free. Organize equipment and tools after use.
  • Storing: Keep products in their designated locations until shipping.
  • Labeling & Dispatch: Print and adhere shipping labels accurately.
  • Receiving: Check incoming merchandise for quality and damages.
  • Inventory Management: Follow LIFO/FIFO methods for proper stock handling.
