Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Marketing Specialist at Basil Decor in Pune. The specialist will be responsible for managing social media marketing campaigns, creating engaging content, implementing digital marketing strategies, and effectively communicating with the target audience on various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Strategy:

○ Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with overall business objectives.

○ Identify target audiences and tailor content to meet their interests and needs.

2. Content Creation and Curation:

○ Create and curate engaging, high-quality content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.

○ Collaborate with the design team to produce visuals, videos, and other multimedia assets.

3. Community Management:

○ Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers to foster a vibrant online community.

○ Address customer inquiries and feedback promptly via social channels.

4. Campaign Management:

○ Plan and execute social media campaigns to support product launches, promotions, and events.

○ Manage paid social media advertising campaigns to maximize ROI.

5. Analytics and Reporting:

○ Track and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) like reach, engagement, and conversions.

○ Prepare monthly reports and use insights to refine strategies.

6. Trend Monitoring:

○ Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.

○ Experiment with innovative content formats and strategies to keep the brand ahead of the curve.

7. Collaboration and Coordination:

○ Work closely with the marketing team, influencers, and partners to amplify campaigns.

○ Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

● 2+years of experience in social media management or a similar role.

● Strong understanding of platform-specific nuances, algorithms, and audience behaviors.

● Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Preferred Skills:

● Experience with graphic design tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator.

● Knowledge of basic video editing tools for short-form content.

● Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
