Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Python Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, building, and maintaining robust APIs and backend services. You should be comfortable working in fast-paced environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering scalable, high-performance backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python.
  • Design and implement database schemas, queries, and optimizations (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps to deliver features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and data validation mechanisms.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile development processes.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
  • Solid experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
  • Experience with Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
  • Familiarity with API security, token-based authentication (OAuth2, JWT).
  • Experience with Docker, basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficient with version control tools like Git.
  • Good understanding of software design principles and scalable architectures.
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and tools like PyTest or unittest.
