Role Overview: As a skilled and motivated Backend Developer with hands-on experience in Python, FastAPI, and MongoDB, you will be responsible for building and maintaining backend systems for a high-impact digital platform in the fintech/investment domain. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining robust backend applications using Python and FastAPI - Designing and managing MongoDB databases with efficient data structures and queries - Creating and maintaining secure, scalable APIs for mobile and web platforms - Collaborating with the frontend, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and performance - Implementing authentication systems, API integrations, and business logic for wallet-based operations and asset tracking - Ensuring backend services meet security and performance standards - Writing clean, well-documented, and testable code Qualification Required: To excel in this role, you should have: - At least 1 year of experience in backend development with Python - Strong expertise in FastAPI network - Proficiency with MongoDB including schema design and optimization - A good understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming in Python - Experience with version control systems like Git - Strong analytical and debugging skills Additional Details: Exposure to fintech, digital wallet, or investment platforms, an understanding of security practices in financial applications, knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud environments like AWS or GCP, and experience working in Agile teams are considered good to have. Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position based in Kochi, and male candidates are preferred for this role.
