Core Responsibilities:

Visit institutions, SMEs, and corporate offices to identify insurance needs. Collect requirements, coordinate with internal team for quotes, and present solutions. Explain coverage terms, exclusions, and premium details to clients in simple language. Drive end-to-end closure of policies (from proposal to issuance). Participate in local exhibitions, trade fairs, and BNI-style events to generate leads. Collect leads, update CRM, and maintain pipeline with timely follow-ups. Submit a daily visit/activity report. Other responsibilities 1. Prospecting & Networking: Identify new business opportunities through cold visits, referrals, and networking events. Build and nurture long-term relationships with HR, admin heads, CFOs, and decision makers. 2. Cross-Selling & Upselling: Suggest additional insurance products (health, fire, liability, etc.) based on client's risk profile. Ensure renewals and portfolio retention of existing clients. 3. Market & Competitor Intelligence: Track competitor offerings, pricing, and coverage differences. Share feedback with the team to improve product positioning. 4. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure KYC, proposal forms, and compliance documents are accurately collected. Assist clients in smooth onboarding and claim intimation process if needed. 5. Targets & Performance: Achieve assigned monthly/quarterly sales targets. Maintain healthy conversion ratios from leads to closed deals. Skills & Attributes Strong communication & presentation skills (for explaining insurance jargon simply). Negotiation & persuasion skills to close deals. Understanding of general insurance products (health, fire, marine, liability, motor). Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in using CRM tools & drafting correct emails. Willingness to travel extensively within the city/state. Qualification & Experience Graduate in any discipline (Commerce/Finance preferred). 1–5 years of field sales experience (insurance, banking, financial services preferred). No personal code under self or family members Willing to work with utmost transparancy.
