Job Purpose:

Assist the Offset Web Machine Operator in the efficient setup, operation, and maintenance of offset printing machines to ensure high-quality print output and smooth production flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the main operator in machine setup, plate loading, ink adjustment, and web alignment.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure print quality, color consistency, and registration.
  • Assist in troubleshooting printing issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the machine and surrounding work area.
  • Ensure timely loading of raw materials (paper, ink, chemicals) and unloading of finished rolls/sheets.
  • Conduct routine checks on machine performance and report any irregularities.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety rules, and quality guidelines.
  • Support preventive maintenance activities under the guidance of the senior operator.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum: ITI/Diploma in Printing Technology or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in offset printing (preferably in web machines).
  • Ability to work in a team and support machine operators in fast-paced environments.
  • Willingness to work in shifts.
  • Attention to detail with strong quality orientation.
  • Technical aptitude for machine handling.
  • Quick learner with problem-solving attitude.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Physically fit to handle production floor activities.
