Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and responsible
Pouching Operator
to operate and maintain pouching machines for flexible packaging production. The role involves ensuring smooth machine operation, maintaining quality standards, minimizing downtime, and meeting daily production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor pouching machines (Center Seal / Three Side Seal / Stand-up Pouches / Zipper Pouches, etc.).
• Set up machines with correct specifications (size, material, sealing temperature, etc.) before production runs.
• Ensure proper feeding, sealing, cutting, and pouch formation during operation.
• Conduct regular quality checks for pouch sealing strength, cutting accuracy, and overall finishing.
• Perform minor machine adjustments and troubleshooting to avoid downtime.
• Report mechanical issues to maintenance team and assist in basic machine maintenance.
• Maintain production records, including output, wastage, and downtime.
• Follow safety protocols, housekeeping, and 5S practices on the shop floor.
• Work closely with supervisors and quality control teams to meet production and quality goals.

Requirements:

• Education:
  Minimum 10th pass / ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant field preferred.
• Experience:
  1–3 years of experience as a pouching machine operator in flexible packaging industry.
• Good knowledge of different pouch types and machine operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues.
• Understanding of safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
