Reporting & Metrics (Cloud Operations)
Strong Data Analysis & Reporting Skills: Ability to work with dashboards, BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or AWS QuickSight).
Proficiency in Excel:Advanced formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning, and charting for KPI reporting.
Understanding of Cloud KPIs: Familiarity with metrics like uptime, cost optimization, utilization, incidents, SLA adherence.
Basic AWS Billing & Cost Explorer Knowledge: So they can interpret and present AWS usage/cost data clearly.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Project Coordination Experience: Handling status reporting, action item tracking, and follow-ups.
Stakeholder Communication Skills: Clear, concise communication with business units (BUs), PMO, and technical/cloud teams.
Soft Skills (Equally Mandatory)
Organizational Skills: Keeping multiple BU activities aligned.
Attention to Detail: Especially for financials and reporting.
Problem-Solving Mindset: Anticipating coordination gaps and closing them.
Business Acumen: Linking AWS usage metrics to client/business impact during presentations.
Good to Have/Optional Skills
Documentation Skills: Drafting, reviewing, and ensuring signoffs for Statements of Work (SOWs) and runbooks.
Meeting Facilitation: Preparing agendas, driving discussions, capturing decisions, and ensuring follow-ups.
PMO / Governance Skills
Familiarity with PMO Processes: Governance frameworks, approvals, and compliance with internal project standards.
Risk & Issue Tracking: Identifying and escalating blockers across BUs.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare and publish cloud operations reports, KPIs, and internal business metrics.
Coordinate with Business Units (BUs) for SOW and runbook reviews/signoffs.
Support PMO activities by taking ownership of coordination tasks previously managed by senior PMs.
Collaborate with the Cloud Economics team on rates, T&M, and cost allocation models.
Assist in generating AWS usage and cost reports for BU reviews and client meetings.
Maintain governance documentation and track progress of BU deliverables.
Facilitate meetings, capture action items, and ensure timely follow-ups.
