bout the Role

We are hiring a
CAD & Cutlist Engineer
with strong
manual cutlist preparation skills
for modular furniture manufacturing (kitchens, wardrobes, storage units, and interior projects).

Candidates with experience in
manual cutlist, panel optimization, modular standards, and CAD drawing
are highly preferred.

Knowledge of
Infurnia
is
not mandatory
—
training will be provided
.

Key Responsibilities

Manual Cutlist Preparation (Major Requirement)

  • Prepare accurate
    manual cutlists
    for modular kitchens, wardrobes, lofts, and custom furniture.
  • Calculate
    panel sizes, ply/MDF/particle board consumption, laminate cut sizes, edge banding requirements, skirting, hardware
    , etc.
  • Follow modular standards:
    carcass sizes, shutter sizes, module structure, back panel thickness, drawer structure
    .
  • Work with production team to ensure 100% accuracy in panel cutting & CNC.


Infurnia / Software-Based Cutlist (Training Provided)

  • Learn and use
    Infurnia
    to generate automated cutlists.
  • Update project details, modules, and corrective values inside the software.
  • Assist in transitioning from manual to
    Infurnia-based production workflows
    .


CAD Drafting & Production Drawings

  • Prepare 2D drawings, assembly drawings, and production layouts using
    AutoCAD / SketchUp
    .
  • Convert designer drawings into factory-ready production drawings.
  • Create
    exploded views, hardware positions, joinery details, groove drawings, shutter details
    , etc.


BOQ, Material Calculation & Optimization

  • Prepare
    BOQ
    , panel lists, laminate lists, edge band lists, and hardware lists.
  • Optimize material usage to reduce wastage in panels and laminates.
  • Work with factory team to verify sizes and adjust for CNC tolerances.


Factory Coordination & Quality Checks

  • Coordinate with CNC operator, edge band operator, production manager, and supervisors.
  • Check drawings vs. actual output, measure panels, verify drilling & grooves.
  • Support QC before dispatch.
