Job Role Summary
:

We are seeking a
Cutlist Maker
with hands-on experience in preparing detailed cutting lists for interior production, especially in the branding, retail, or commercial fit-out space. The ideal candidate will work closely with the design and production team to translate drawings into precise material cutting schedules.

Key Responsibilities
:

  • Study 2D/3D design drawings and BOQs to create accurate cutlists for fabrication.
  • Prepare optimized cutting schedules for MDF, plywood, acrylic, ACP, laminate boards, etc.
  • Coordinate with designers and production leads to finalize sizes and materials.
  • Ensure maximum sheet optimization to reduce material wastage.
  • Prepare cutlists in Excel or specialized software (e.g., Optimik, CutList Plus).
  • Label parts for assembly (panel codes, edge banding instructions, grain direction, etc.).
  • Ensure alignment with project timelines and workshop requirements.
  • Visit site or workshop if necessary to coordinate with carpenters and fabricators.

Key Skills Required
:

  • Strong knowledge of interior materials (ply, MDF, laminates, etc.)
  • Ability to read AutoCAD / SketchUp drawings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
  • Experience using cutlist software is a plus (e.g., CutList Plus, Optimik)
  • Basic knowledge of modular systems, panel processing, and edge banding

Qualification
:

  • Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Interior Design, Civil, Architecture, or relevant field
  • Certification in AutoCAD or related tools is a plus

: Based on Experience (Negotiable)
