Role Overview
The Senior Marketing & Referral Representative will be responsible for driving patient referrals, strengthening doctor relationships, and increasing footfall for key specialties. The role involves outreach activities, corporate engagement, coordination with clinicians, and execution of on-ground health campaigns. The candidate should have strong experience in
healthcare referral marketing
,
doctor engagement
, and
hospital sales operations
, similar to what is seen in large healthcare networks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Doctor Engagement & Referral Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with
referring doctors, clinics, nursing homes, and medical practitioners
. - Conduct
regular doctor connect visits
to increase referral inflow. - Ensure consistent follow-up and information sharing on patient updates, new services, and hospital capabilities.
- Increase specialty-wise referrals through structured outreach plans.
2. Outreach Activities & Field Marketing
- Plan and execute
health camps, OPDs, community programs, CMEs, seminars, outreach clinics
, and awareness drives. - Organize
Know Your Doctor programs
, school/office camps, and therapy-specific referral activities. - Build presence in tier-2/tier-3 regions through outreach strategies.
3. Corporate & Institutional Business
- Engage with corporates, TPAs, insurance partners, and network providers to drive cashless and referral business.
- Conduct presentations to HR heads, corporate employees, and government bodies regarding hospital services.
4. Sales Operations & Revenue Support
- Work closely with the sales team to meet monthly referral revenue targets for specific specialties.
- Track referral patterns and support in achieving AOP targets.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth patient journey for referred cases.
5. Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain doctor databases, call logs, and outreach activity trackers.
- Use CRM / SFA tools to update daily visits, leads, and referral conversions.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports on referral trends and campaign outcomes.
6. Marketing Coordination
- Work with the marketing team for local promotions, digital campaigns, brochures, flyers, and specialty drives.
- Support hospital branding through community presence and strategic field activities.
- Execute 360° campaigns for specialty growth (Neuro, Cardiac, Oncology, etc.).
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong network with clinics, referring doctors, and medical institutions.
- Experience in
doctor referral sales & field marketing
. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to plan CMEs, medical outreach programs, and specialty campaigns.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, data reporting, and documentation.
- Capable of working independently and handling multiple territories.
- Understanding of hospital operations and patient flow processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field (science/healthcare preferred).
- PREFERRED MBA in Marketing/Healthcare Management is an advantage.
- 4–10 years of experience in healthcare referral marketing, doctor engagement, or hospital B2B sales.
